JoCo 2027 – Joint Colloquium of the IAA Sections in Luxembourg

The Institut Luxembourgeois des Actuaires (ILAC), in collaboration with the Sections of the International Actuarial Association (IAA), will host the 3rd Joint Colloquium of the IAA Sections (JoCo 2027), taking place from 19 to 21 May 2027 at the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL).

This international event will bring together actuaries, researchers and experts from around the world under the theme:

“Actuarial Intelligence: Where Ethics Meets Expertise”

The actuarial profession has always played a key role in strengthening the security and resilience of our societies, combining technical expertise, risk management and a strong sense of responsibility towards stakeholders.

In an increasingly complex world, where artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work and make decisions, maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and ethical responsibility is more important than ever.

JoCo 2027 will explore how actuaries can embrace technological innovation while continuing to fulfil their essential societal role: keeping people at the centre of everything we do.

The event will provide a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, share expertise and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the actuarial profession.

Call for Abstracts

We invite actuaries, researchers and professionals to share their research, practical experience and insights by submitting an abstract for presentation at the colloquium.
